Obituary of Vivian O Sand
Memorial services for Vivian O. Sand, age 76, of Roanoke, will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 7, 2021, at Roanoke First United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Martin officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 6th.
Mrs. Sand passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Sand of Roanoke; three daughters, Connie Moncus Saxon of Cragford, Lyn Moncus Perry (Chad) of Roanoke and Trisha Sand Engebretson (Ken) of Lexington, KY; four grandchildren, Sydney Saxon of Auburn, Claudia Perry of Roanoke, Cooper Perry of Roanoke and Eddie Engebretson of Lexington, KY; one sister, Dorothy Roughton (Dwight) of LaFayette; one brother, Calvin Osborne of Valley; and nephew, Keith Roughton (Susan) of LaFayette.
A Chambers County native, Mrs. Sand was born February 9, 1945, the daughter of Thomas and Littie Mae Harmon Osborne. She was a member of Roanoke First United Methodist Church and had worked as a bank teller with Farm and Merchant’s Bank. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Herschell Osborne and Earl Osborne.
