As close as we lived (35 miles), I tried on numerous occasions over the years to get in touch with my Ida classmate Doug, but without success. I remember working for his dad at Grubers and living across the street, the many bike rides, and tackle football in his yard with his brother Dennis and neighbor Ron Ronald Niemann. Good memories of growing up in Ida.
