Larry Lamar Poole, age 82, of Lanett passed away Monday, March 8, 2021, at NHC Healthcare in Anniston, Alabama.
Survivors include his spouse, Cheryl Richardson Poole of Lanett; two sons, Richard Poole of Roanoke and Scott Poole (Amy) of Opelika; three grandchildren, Ethan Poole, Elliott Poole, and Bradley Fuller (Brea); and one great-grandchild, Sutton Fuller.
A Roanoke native, Mr. Poole was born on December 18, 1938, the son of William Richard “W.R.” and Lela Mae Borders Poole. He was a United States Army veteran and worked at Matrix in the warehouse. Mr. Poole was preceded in death by his parents.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
