My first real job growing up was working at the recreation center for the summer. That when a met “Fish”, and we became friends from that day on. When I retired from the Army I received a proclamation from Mayor Fisher. I will cherish that proclamation with his signature. I will miss “Fish”. He was truly a good man. Rest In Peace sir.

I was proud to work for Mike at the store. Everyone who came in always had a favorite memory of Mike. Whether it was sport related or the care he took for his beloved town of Roanoke. I loved when Mikes good old friends would come and sit for an hour or two and tell long tales of Mikes many escapades. I know his church will miss him jumping in on the piano when needed.
You will be missed my friend but always loved!.

Mike was many things and wore many faces to the people of Roanoke. To my Daddy he was his domino partner, his ride to the game but most of all his friend—- this was ‘Fish’ to many people, young and old!!! I treasured his friendship to me and to all the Robinson family! He was special to so many people and will be missed by just as many !!
Prayers for all for peace, comfort, and understanding!
RIP my dear friend !!!!
