Obituary of Virginia Marie Smith
Funeral services for Virginia Marie Tyler Smith, age 31, of Wetumpka, formerly of Roanoke, will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at 2:00 pm at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Sis. Carolyn Hanner officiating. Burial will follow at Potash Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 27th.
Mrs. Smith died Sunday, October 25, 2020, at UAB in Birmingham.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony Smith of Wetumpka; one daughter, Elizabeth Cheyenne Smith of Wetumpka; grandmother, Lois Smith of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, Daniel Tyler (Candy) of Franklin, GA and Josh Tyler (Amanda) of Roanoke.
Pallbearers will be Bud Foster, D J Kelly, Noah Kelly, Ethan Kelly, Daniel Dudley and Johnathan Kelly.
A Roanoke native, Mrs. Smith was born September 29, 1989, the daughter of David Jae and Patricia Ann Kelley Tyler. She was a 2009 graduate of Handley High School. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of Woodland Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jasmine Marie Smith; and a brother, Christopher Tyler.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Quattlebaum Funeral Home to go toward final expenses.
