OBITUARY
Funeral services for, Mrs. Virginia Brazell Adcock, age 81, of Roanoke, will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 6, 2011, from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Don Quick officiating. Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Saturday, November 5, 2011.
Mrs. Adcock died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Traylor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Adcock is survived by two step-sons, Millard Adcock of LaGrange, GA, Murphy Adcock of Fort Walton, FL; one brother, Jack (wife Joan) Brazell of Heard County, GA; four step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Adcock was born, October 1, 1930, the daughter of John and Odessa Lancaster Brazell. She was of the Baptist faith, and had been a homemaker. Mrs. Adcock was preceded in death by her husband, Arnie Adcock; her parents; three sisters, Grace Dean, Gladys Brazell, Jacquelin Brazell.
