Obituary of Nadine Hull Henry

Funeral services for Nadine Hull Henry, age 84, of Roanoke will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 1:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Scott Whaley officiating and burial to follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 30, 2020.

Mrs. Henry passed away Monday, June 29, 2020, at her residence.

Survivors include her husband, Ussery Manley Henry, Jr., of Roanoke; one daughter, Cupid Hull Hargett of Baltimore, MD; one son, James Earl Hull (Vikki) of Bakersfield, CA; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Hull of Lanett, AL; a stepdaughter, Shelley Jarrell (Micah) of West point, GA; a stepson, Jeremy Henry (Michelle) of Shawmut, AL; five grandchildren, Ryan A. Hull and Annie C. Hull, both of Bakersfield, CA, Kelli Cooper (Ben) of Baltimore, MD, and Sassy Hull and Josh Hull, both of Lanett, AL; five step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Paschal O’Neal (Wade) of Hogansville, GA; her mother-in-law, Margie Henry; two sisters-in-law, Donna Hendrix (Tony) of LaGrange, GA, and Jennifer Smith (John) of Roanoke; four brothers-in-law, Larry Henry (Catherine) of Las Vegas, NV, Marvin Henry (Penny) of Kingsport, TN, Manley Henry (Joan) of Luthersville, GA, and J. C. Henry of Roanoke, AL; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be A. J. Trask, Kevin Trask, Jeremy Henry, Allen Trask, Mickey Jarrell, and Drew Henry.  Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Hull and Micah Jarrell.

A West Point, Georgia native, Mrs. Henry was born on October 23, 1935, the daughter of Edward B. and Lottie Harpe Prather.  She was a member of Reed’s Chapel Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Henry loved sewing, cooking, and tending to the garden and enjoyed going shopping with her sister. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Edward Guy Hull; and a brother, William Guy Prather.
