Obituary of Andrea Ray

Graveside services for Andrea Cook Ray, age 68, of Roanoke will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Randolph Memory Gardens with Rev. Tyler Worthey officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ray passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at her residence. Survivors include: niece, Trudy Dunlap (Terry) of Rock Mills; nephew, Rusty Sanders of Rock Mills; and great-nieces, Candace Simpson (Bobby), Hannah Exum (Trey), Claire Wilson (Brenton), and Haley Dunlap; and three great-great-nephews and one great-great-niece. A Texas native, Mrs. Ray was born on October 15, 1951, the daughter of Lloyd and Gladys Atkinson Cook. She was a member of Rock Mills Baptist Church and worked as a nurse at Noble Army Hospital. Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Phillip; and sister, Marie Nix. Memorials may be floral stands only or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at P.O.
