OBITUARY
Funeral services for, Annie Lynn Waldrep Kenney, age 88, of Montgomery, formerly of Randolph County, will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, August 24, 2011, from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Frank Sledge and Rebecca Fulks officiating. Burial to follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 24th.
Mrs. Kenney died August 21, 2011 at Merry Wood Lodge.
Mrs. Kenney is survived by one daughter, Barbara (husband Wayne) Mitchell of Montgomery; two grandchildren, Dennis Mitchell of Montgomery, Denise (husband Michael) George of Montgomery; one great grandchild, Tristan George of Montgomery; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Trinity Baptist Church members.
Mrs. Kenney was born, April 28, 1923, the daughter of Melton and Linnie Ballard Waldrep. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and had been employed with Handley Mills and Candlewick Yarns. Mrs. Kenney was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Kenney; her parents; two brothers, Emmett and John Waldrep; one sister, Mary Dukes.
