Obituary of Keiko Bassett
Funeral services for Keiko Bassett, age 83, of Roanoke will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019, at 10:00 AM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Nobbley officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Springs Congregational Christian Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2019.
Ms. Bassett passed away Monday, July 8, 2019, at Tanner East Alabama Medical Center in Wedowee.
Survivors include: two sons, Johnny Bassett of Roanoke and Erwin Bassett of Panama City, FL; and two granddaughters, Leah Paige Bassett and Cara Lynn Bassett.
A native of Japan, Ms. Bassett was born on February 19, 1936. She was a homemaker as well as a volunteer at the Senior Citizens’ Center in Roanoke. Ms. Bassett was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bassett.
