Obituary of Kay Francis Golden
Memorial services for Kay Francis Golden, age 80, of Roanoke, will be held on December 9, 2018, at 2:00 from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Scott Whaley officiating.
Mrs. Golden passed away on December 7, 2018 at Roanoke Health Care.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Smith (Steve) of Roanoke; one son, Thomas Golden of Roanoke; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Judy Vaughn of Gadsden, AL; and one brother, Jim Gilbreath of Flat Rock, AL.
A resident of Roanoke, Mrs. Golden was born on December 30, 1937, the daughter of William Hoyt Gilbreath and Alice Wilma Chamblee Gilbreath. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gaines E. Golden; son, James W. Golden; two sisters, Ruby Walden and Carolyn Rowell; mother-in-law, LeMerle Dutton.
