Leroy was a shining light in my life from the time I was a young girl. He always treated me like I was another one of his daughters. He and Betty were my other set of parents, who I love very much. When my momma passed away back in February, Leroy pulled me off to the side and told me how proud he was of the woman I became and that he still thought of me as one of his and Betty's children. That means a lot to me and will stay with me for the rest of my life. We will all miss you Leroy! And, God knows that my heart and prayers are with Betty, Elaine, Sharon, Jenny, and their families.
Love always,
Deborah

Praying for his family. I know he was a special man. Football games won't be the same without seeing him sitting in the stands. Elaine, once you told me he stopped to give Jesse James a ride to Roanoke and when he let Jesse out he realized that his lunch was missing. Guess he is now sitting at Jesus' table with Jesse now chowing down on some good food. This time he won't have to worry about Jesse getting his lunch. Love ya girl.

Where would I ever begin. Have been a part of this family for over 30 years. Started with a life long friendship with Mr. Leroy's daughter Sharon. What wonderful memories we share. All the jokes, all the laughter and even sharing painful life issues. We had some awesome talks, he and I. We love you so and will miss you. Love Gregg,Jackie and children (ALL 5)...
