Obituary of Pam Brown Burks

Funeral services for Pam Brown Burks, age 60, of Roanoke, will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tim Whaley officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 17, 2018.

Mrs. Burks passed away on October 15, 2018, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, GA.

Survivors include her husband, Kerry Burks of Roanoke; two daughters, Amy Bennett and Ashley Burks both of Roanoke; her mother, Brenda Brown of Roanoke; one sister, Mary Perry of Roanoke; three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Randy Hudson, Steve Perry, Blake Perry, Terry Wade, Ricky Crenshaw and Randy McManus.

A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mrs. Burks was born on August 6, 1958, the daughter of Helton Duane “Doodle” and Brenda Wade Brown. She was Church of Christ by faith and had been employed as a certified nursing assistant at Williamsburg Manor.  She was preceded in death by her father.
