Obituary of Kathy C. Kirby

Funeral services for Kathy C. Kirby, age 72, of Birmingham, formerly of Roanoke, will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 11:00 am at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Gerald Romine officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 am on Tuesday.

Miss Kirby died Saturday, July 7, 2018, at St. Martin’s in the Pines, Birmingham.

Survivors include a niece, Andrea Jackson Wyatt of Vestavia Hills, AL; great-niece, Katie Wyatt; great-nephew, Noah Wyatt; several cousins, including Charles May of Roanoke; special friends, Bill Crawford, Cheryl Roy and Sandi Freeman; and her beloved dog, Dooley.

Pallbearers will be Bill Crawford, Charles May, Chris May, Jimbo Robinson, S. A. Kidd, and Nick French.

A Roanoke native, Miss Kirby was born May 10, 1946, the daughter of Durwood and Nadine Kirby.  She was a member of Roanoke Church of Christ and had been a nursing supervisor with University Hospital Birmingham.
