Fran and family,
Hugs of comfort and love to all of you. Your mother was a real southern Christian lady, and leaves fond memories for many of us. One of my last memories of her was in the hospital room when she was rattling off the birthdates of all her grandchildren! Such a sharp mind, and obviously very focused on family!

My sincerest and most heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Wanda, her siblings, and all the Key family. What an inspiration Ms. Ruth was to me as well as to so many people!! I will always remember her sweet personality and her gentle smile--such a warm, kind Christian lady!! There isn't a doubt in my mind that she's with her Heavenly Father now--Heaven is much richer now with her presence!!
May God bless each of you as you remember your Mom's life and reflect on what it actually meant to each of you.
Love & blessings,

Mrs. Key was such a good example for all of us. She taught me in Sunday school many years ago, and taught my dad even before that. She was so dedicated to serving God. We should all strive to follow in her footsteps. She will be greatly missed. Love and prayers to you all.

Dear Frances, Margaret,Wanda, and Jackie, we were so sorry to hear of Ms. Ruth's passing. She was one of the finest ladies I have ever known and it was a joy to talk with her. That smile of hers left a lasting impression on everyone. She will be missed by all of you but that smile will once again be big and broad as she joins her husband upstairs.
All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God Bless you.

Sister Ruth was a wonderful example to everyone she met. She encouraged me to be the best I can be, not to get discouraged and feeling low but to use that time to get your strength back. She was the first to visit us, and brought me flowers to plant and now I share them with others.

My sympathy to your family in the loss of your mother. My Granny and Grandaddy were Robbie and Winfred Faulkner, who lived next door until Grandaddy's death in 1981, and until Granny moved to Smiths, AL, in 1982. They loved having your Mother and Daddy as their neighbors, and I spent many a week in the summers on that beautiful old wooded hill across in front of their house - it seemed like a "mountain" back then. Your Mother and my Granny are hugging each other right now, catching up on old times, I am sure. We lost Granny in December at the age of 98. I hope I live a life as full as they both did, and leave just half the wonderful memories with my boys and (someday) grandchildren. Love to you all. Robin Jackson Gaylor, Phenix City, AL
