I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the Slay family find comfort and strength in Jesus promise along with our heavenly father Jehovah of the earthly resurrection, where death will be eliminated forever. Truly, what a glorious and unbelievable day that will be, for God cannot lie!

We are very saddened to hear about the passing of B.B. , but as my sister (Pammie Noble) expressed we are thankful that he is not suffering any longer. While we haven't kept in touch as much as we would liked, our love for B.B. never diminished from the days we spent together in Mendenhall, Mississippi.
I would like to share some of those many memories on this tribute. B.B. would come home almost every Christmas and summer for many years to see Eutcy Smith. The Smith’s and the Lee’s would always get together for Christmas dinner and throughout our visits in Mendenhall. So when I think of B.B. this is what I think about. Rook games with Eutcy and MaMaw Lee, trips to the fish house out by Merit Creek, riding the back roads of Mississippi from Mendenhall to Pinola, Hattisburg, Magee, ect, us going out in front of Eutcy’s house and lighting fireworks on the 4th of July and New Years, playing checkers, and yes even more Rook games down at MaMaw Lee’s house and B.B. talking Eutcy into staying for one more hand! The number one memory (and favorite memory of B.B.) however, are the many summers we spent down at Merit Creek. I’ve included a photo of us down at Merit Creek with me on the left, B.B. in the middle, and Houston Smith on the right. I greatly miss the summers and holidays in Mendenhall, MS and they never would have been near as good without my cousin B.B. Great days and great memories I’ll cherish forever. Our condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Slay family during this time.

My deepest sympathy to the friends and family of Billy. We will never get used to losing our love ones in death. The reason is because we were created with everlasting life in view. B.B. was one of the sweetest persons I have ever known. He would give the shirt off his back to help you. I was privileged to be his cousin! I have wonderful memories of he & I growing up in MS. We mainly got to see each other during the summer & some holidays. Being a couple yrs older then myself, he would also look after me. Then when we got older he took me to see my 1st concert which I never will forget. I miss him already but thankful his suffering is over & he is in Heaven w/loved ones. I personally want to thank his brother Adam for taking such good care of B.B. when he no longer could himself and his brother Curtis for taking care of his beloved Savannah the dog. My prayers are with each of you. Love, Pammie
