OBITUARY
Funeral services for, Mrs. Evie Fowler Wade, age 96, of Cummings, GA, will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 12, 2011, from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gary Baugh officiating. Burial to follow in Cedarwood Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the funeral home on Saturday, March 12th.
Mrs. Wade died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Cumming Nursing Center.
Mrs. Wade is survived by three daughters, Carolyn(husband John) Mumford of Ball Ground, GA, Laura(husband Bobby) Taylor of Lithia Springs, GA, Margaret(husband Larry) Ducket of Spartanburg, SC; ten grandchildren; eleven great grand-children.
Pallbearers will be John Mumford, Bobby Taylor, Larry Ducket, Pat Wade, Gary Cofield, and Andy Cofield.
Mrs. Wade was born, March 3, 1915, the daughter of Jim and Nettie McKee Fowler. She was of the Church of God faith and had been a textile spinner for Handley Manufacturing. Mrs. Wade was preceded in death by her husband, John Wade; her parents; two sons, Mike and Jim Wade. Condolences may be expressed at www.quattlebaumfuneralhome.com.
