Obituary of Frances Inez Adams

Graveside services for Frances Inez Adams, age 85, of Roanoke will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at 2:00 PM from Randolph Memory Gardens with Rev. Chuck Potts officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, before services begin.

Mrs. Adams passed away Monday, August 14, 2017, at Traylor’s Nursing Center.

Survivors include: one son, Charlie Adams, Jr.; one sister, Martha Hyde of Oxford; and two brothers, George Bryant, Jr., of Anniston, and James Bryant of Roanoke.

A Clay County native, Mrs. Adams was born on January 24, 1932, the daughter of George Washington and Grace Suggs Bryant.  She worked as a seamstress for Palm Beach/Stephanie Fashions.  Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie W. Adams, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Jan Adams; three sisters, Melba Blankenship, Helen Howard, and Mary Smith; and two brothers, Ed Bryant and Jack Bryant.
