Obituary of Betty Dubose

Funeral services for Betty Dubose, age 73, of Wadley will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fred Flowers officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, July 6, 2017.

Mrs. Dubose passed away Monday, July 3, 2017, at her residence.

Survivors include: two sons, Jasper Dubose (wife, Aleshia) and Mark Dubose (wife, Wanda), both of Wadley; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chad Green, Darrick Green, Billy Joe Green, Timmy Dubose, Patrick Smith, and Phillip Roberts.  Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Dubose, Landon Green, and Riley Green.

A Roanoke native, Mrs. Dubose was born on March 27, 1944, the daughter of Charlie and Tefie Burson.  She was a member of Soul’s Harbor Church and worked in packing at Franklin Aluminum.  Mrs. Dubose was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Dubose, Jr.; a son, Lamar Williamson; and brother, Charlie Burson, Jr.
