OBITUARY
Funeral services for, Mr. Gary John Shewark, age 63, of Roanoke, will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 16, 2011, from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home on Sunday, January 15th.
Mr. Shewark died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Shewark is survived by his mother, Sara Shewark of Roanoke; one cousin, Janis Fincher of Roanoke.
Pallbearers will be Donald Mitchem, David Ireland, Rob Perry, Tim Hall, Randy Hall and John Fincher.
Mr. Shewark was born, March 10, 1947, the son of John C. and Sara Elizabeth Bennett Shewark. He had worked for the New York City Post Office. Mr. Shewark was preceded in death by his father. Condolences may be expressed at www.quattlebaumfuneralhome.com.
