OBITUARY
Graveside services for Mittis Cranford Herren, age 86, of Roanoke, will be held Monday, January 3, 2011, at 2:00 pm from Cedarwood Cemetery with Rhonda Baldwin and Marty Dunlap officiating. Quattlebaum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until 1:45 pm on Monday.
Mrs. Herren died Saturday, January 1, 2011, at Traylor Nursing Home in Roanoke.
Survivors include one son, Wyatt Herren (wife, Dorothy) of Roanoke; two granddaughters and two great-grandsons.
A Randolph County native, Mrs. Herren was born June 27, 1924, daughter of Francis Quillian and Josie Turner Cranford. She was a homemaker and a member of Roanoke First Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Amos Herren; three brothers and one sister.
