Obituary of Robbie Whaley

OBITUARY Funeral services for, Mr. Robert "Robbie" Whaley, age 41, of Roanoke, will be held 3:00 pm, Friday, December 31, 2010, from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Whaley officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the funeral home on Friday, December 31st. Mr. Whaley died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at his home. Mr. Whaley is survived his father, Larry Paschal Whaley of Roanoke; his mother, Sarah Elizabeth Glass Whaley of Roanoke; one nephew, Drew Smith; one niece; Alissa Smith; maternal grandmother, Ann Glass of Roanoke . Pallbearers will be family members. Mr. Whaley was born, April 10, 1969. He was of the Baptist faith and had been produce manager for Piggly Wiggly. Mr. Whaley was preceded in death by his sister, Chasity Smith; maternal grandfather, William "Bill" Glass; paternal grandparents, Lon and Irene Burke Hunt Whaley.
