Obituary of Chastity Ann Whaley Smith

OBITUARY Funeral services for, Mrs. Chasity Ann Whaley Smith, age 36, of Roanoke, will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, December 27, 2010, from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Whaley and Coach Jimmy Askew officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home on Monday, December 27th. Mrs. Smith died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Randolph Medical Center. Mrs. Smith is survived by one daughter, Alissa Smith of Roanoke; one son, Drew Smith of Roanoke; parents, Larry Paschal and Sarah Elizabeth "Libby" Glass Whaley of Roanoke; one brother, Robbie Whaley of Roanoke; maternal grandmother, Ann Glass of Roanoke. Pallbearers will be family members. Mrs. Smith was born, March 19, 1974. She was of the Baptist faith and a waitress for Sonny's Restaurant. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, William "Bill" Glass; paternal grandparents, Lon and Irene Burke Hunt Whaley.
