Johnny James Anglin, age 54, of Rock Mills died Saturday, September 17, 2016, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia.
Survivors include his mother, Catherine Anglin of Roanoke; one daughter, Jackie Anglin of California; and several nieces and nephews.
A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mr. Anglin was born October 2, 1961, at Atlanta, the son of James Alvin and Catherine Watson Anglin. He was Baptist by faith and had worked as a self-employed painter.
He was preceded in death by his father and three brothers, Jimmy Anglin, Donny Wade Anglin and Daniel Wayne Anglin.
A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date.

Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
