Funeral services for Bobby Holden, age 58, of Roanoke, will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, August 14, 2016.
Mr. Holden passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016, at Wedowee Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Holden of Roanoke; one step-son, Brandon Smith of Ashland; his father, James Holden of Rome, GA; one brother, Randy Holden (wife, Joanne) of Huddleston, Virginia; one uncle, Harvey McGuork (wife, Paulett) of Paris, TN; one aunt, Regina; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be James Norred, Adam Henry, James Hand, Kenneth Henry, Doug Hill, Danny Sudduth, Michael Denham, and Wayne Ford.
Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Watson and John Watson.
A Troup County native, Mr. Holden was born on May 16, 1958, the son of James and Opal McGuork Holden. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was preceded in death by his mother; and his first wife, Kathy Owens Holden.
