OBITUARY
Funeral services for, Mrs. SeDenia Maude Knight Screws, age 81, of Wadley, will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 4, 2010, from the Corinth Christian Church with Rev. Zenus Windsor and Rev. Richie Farrow officiating. Mrs. Screws will lie in state one hour before the service at the church. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home on Friday, December 3rd.
Mrs. Screws died Thursday, December 2, 2010.
Mrs. Screws is survived by two daughters, Reppie York of Franklin, GA, Emma Lynn Willis of Ashland; two sons, Johnny Screws of Woodland, Emory Kem Screws of Wadley; two sisters, Velma Nolen of Wadley, Elsie Perry of Roanoke; six brothers, Ezra "Buddy" Knight of Wadley, Clifford Knight of Roanoke, Franklin Knight of Roanoke, Billy Knight of Wadley, R. L. Knight of Wadley and Manley Knight of Cragford; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her nephews
Mrs. Screws was born, July 7, 1929, the daughter of Harlin D. and Bernice Hester Knight. She was a member of Corinth Christian Church and had been a seamstress for Clegg Manufacturing. Mrs. Screws was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Lee Screws; her parents; one brother, Tony Knight. Condolences may be expressed at www.quattlebaumfuneralhome.com.
