Obituary of Kelley Sherita Redden Litsey

Funeral services for Kelley Sherita Redden Litsey, age 43, of Roanoke, will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jody Overton and April Anthony officiating. Burial will follow at Potash Church of God Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, April 30, 2016.
Ms. Litsey passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016, at Wedowee Hospital.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Nell Redden of Roanoke; two sisters, Julie Pike and Anita Stephens, both of Roanoke; one brother-in-law, Jerome Hammond of Roanoke; several nieces and nephews; and two best friends, April Anthony of Roanoke and Jenny Arrington (husband, Wendell) of LaGrange, GA.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Tyler, Jerome Hammond, Stacy Mitchell, Anthony Gosdin, Jack Smith, and David Kelley.
A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Ms. Litsey was born on September 28, 1972, the daughter of Otis Thomas and Mary Nell Kelley Redden. She was Baptist by faith and was the owner of Litsey Bookkeeping and Tax Service. She was preceded in death by her father; and one sister, Tina Hammond.

Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
