OBITUARY
Funeral services for, Mrs. Wanda Young Belcher, age 78, of Roanoke, will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Dean, Rev. Phillip Sessions, Rev. Richard Richie and Rev. Tim Whaley officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Lanett, with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 16, 2010.
Mrs. Belcher died Monday, November 15, 2010 at Traylor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Belcher is survived by two daughters, Teresa (husband Harold) Cotter of Roanoke, Dale (husband Mike)Cain of Roanoke; one son, Paul (wife Janice) Belcher of Panama City, FL; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jon Taylor, Steve Cole, Michael Swann, Chance Swann, Danny Nuckolls, Chip Belcher, III. Honorary pallbearer will be Bob Belcher.
Mrs. Belcher was born, November 29, 1931, the daughter of Pearlie Lewis. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and retired owner of Belcher Furniture. Mrs. Belcher was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Paul Belcher and her mother. Condolences may be expressed at www.quattlebaumfuneralhome.com.
