Funeral services for Cecil Eugene Davis, age 69, of Wadley, will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jack Womack officiating. Burial will follow at Wadley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, March 5, 2016.
Mr. Davis passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016, at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Candy D. Mask of Ashland and Carrie Davis of Wadley; two grandchildren, Kendall Mask of Ashland and Krista Patterson of Wadley; two brothers, Larry Davis (wife, Lona Beth) of Hanford, CA and Bobby Davis of Wadley; one niece; and one nephew.
Pallbearers will be Douglas Kirk, Talmadge Blake, Mike Smith, Daryl Forehand, Mike Morris, and Ken Ray.
A lifelong resident of Wadley, AL, Mr. Davis was born on May 31, 1946, the son of William Euzell and Nena Calhoun Davis. He was Baptist by faith and was self-employed as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents.
