Obituary of Jack David Lipham

OBITUARY Funeral services for Jack David Lipham, age 78, of Roanoke, will be held Monday, November 1, 2010, at 2:00 pm from Rock Mills Church of the Nazarene with Revs. Frank Foster, Sr. and Frank Foster, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday. Mr. Lipham died Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Randolph Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Earl Lipham of Roanoke; two daughters, Carolyn Wilson (Charles) and Rita Moon (Ray Moon, Jr.) both of Roanoke; one son, Ronald Lipham (Susan) of LaGrange, Ga.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A resident of Randolph County for most of his life, Mr. Lipham was born April 15, 1932, son of Milford Ezra and Slettie Carter Lipham. He was a member of Rock Mills Church of the Nazarene and had retired from Southwire Company. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Todd Wilson; and four brothers, Hugh, Dallas, Lavelle and Junior Lipham. Online condolences may be expressed at www.quattlebaumfuneralhome.com.
