Zachariah James Stone, infant son of John Michaels and Melissa Goodall of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Lanier Health Services in Valley, Alabama.
Survivors include his parents; paternal grandmother, Grace Ray of Wedowee; maternal grandmother, Lori Goodall of Connecticut; seven sisters, Stephanie Redman of Maine, Arianna Brown of Connecticut, Searra Boyd, Dymond Holloway, and Angel Holloway, all of Auburn, and Mercedes Holloway and Lexus Crider, both of Roanoke; two brothers, Jaden Goodall of Auburn and Anthony Holloway, Jr., of Roanoke; an aunt, Sarah Akins of Wedowee; and two uncles, Joshua Reeder of Wedowee and James Goodall of Connecticut.

Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
