Obituary of Vicki S. Clay

Funeral services for Vicki S. Clay, age 59, of Lanett, formerly of Roanoke, will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow at Potash Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00-6:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2015. Ms. Clay passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at her home. Survivors include: one daughter, Amy Wallace of Lanett; one grandchild, Zachery Wallace; two sisters, Gail Maddox of Lanett and Barbara Cobb of LaGrange, GA; and one brother, Phillip Smallwood of Monroe, GA. A Randolph County native, Ms. Clay was born on February 15, 1956, the daughter of Tommy Nelson and Lerline Mulkey Smallwood. She was a member of Potash Church of God and had been employed as a weaver by West Point Pepperell. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Tony Smallwood.
