Obituary of Jerry Wayne Henry

Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Henry, age 68, of Roanoke, will be held Saturday, August 21, 2010, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens. Mr. Henry died Thursday, August 19, 2010, at Bethany House in Auburn. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 20th. Survivors include his wife, Faye Lewis Henry of Roanoke; one daughter, Lauren Warren of Roanoke; three sons, Kenneth Henry of Rock Mills, Lamar Henry of LaGrange, Ga. and Steven Lee Henry of Opelika; three sisters, Laverne Randell of Garberville, Ca., Sue Craft of Monroeville and Reba Jean Glass of Arab; two brother, Ricky Henry and Jimmy Henry of Cullman; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be A lifelong Roanoke resident, Mr. Henry was born June 30, 1942, at Guntersville, son of William Edward and Ruby Louis Cox Henry. He was baptist by faith and a self-employed upholsterer. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Mark Henry; a sister and two brothers. Quattlebaum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
