Susan, I am so sorry to hear about Gary. The Leader was late getting to me in Opelika. Please know that I am praying for both you and your family. Words cannot express how I truly feel. But, every time I hear Gary's name or your name, I find a big smile racing across my face. Your whole family was always so generous and kind to everyone. I pray a special Angel will wrap you and your family in their wings and comfort you all.

Gary was a very kind and funny man! I really enjoyed coming to Piggly Wiggly and hearing...."How's it going Terri Lynn". He was a wonderful boss, man and friend to many. I know you rejoice in knowing that he no longer hurts or has any pain. My prayers are with you all for comfort, peace, and strength through your loss. May God be with you all and bless you as only HE can.

Susan, So sorry to hear about Gary's death. I'm certain that he is no longer in pain and with Loved ones in Heaven. I am also sorry we can't be with you today. Paul is one week out of knee replacement. We have therapy today, and it is a struggle. Gary was always the highlight of my visit to the Pig. He always called Will "Baby Will" and was the only one who could get away with it! We will miss him, and you, Chris, and Jeff are in our prayers. Love to all, Debbie

Susan;
It's such a shock to hear of Gary's passing, he'll be sorely missed. At least we'll be blessed with many precious memories, When ever we came back home to visit I always looked forward to seeing his smile when I dropped in at the store to visit. My wife and I will remember you and your family in our prayers. Take care of yourself.

What a kind and compassionate person Gary was!! No matter where I saw him (usually at the Pig), he always made a point to speak and let out that big contagious laugh of his. I can still hear his laughter and see that friendly smile--all so genuine. Any time there was ever an event in our home town to make money for some worthy project or for a person down on his luck, he and his family never hesitated to give abundantly. When my son Matt worked for several years at the Pig, Gary and family treated Matt like he was one of them. Gary did so much for so many. There is no way to know how many thousands of people he had a very positive influence on, but as for my family and me and what we experienced in being around Gary, he was one of the best! We will be praying for his wonderful family who will miss him dearly , but we pray they will find comfort in knowing one day God will call them to come be with Him and Gary in our eternal home.

Can Cancer Conquer You?
I doubt it!
For cancer is so limited
It cannot cripple Love
It cannot shatter Hope
It cannot corrode Faith
It cannot eat away Peace
It cannot destroy Confidence
It cannot kill Friendship
It cannot silence Courage
It cannot invade the Soul
It cannot reduce Eternal Life
It cannot quench the Spirit
It cannot lessen the Power of Resurrection
Cancer didn't Conquer our Parents Either. I remember the stories of growing up and you and Keith fighting over me until I got big enough to get into your stuff. You helping Dad build a horse barn for Missy and your carrying her colt up the hill at the Everett's with Missy running circles around you. You and Keith taking me to fish with you at the canal in Miami. Watching the two of you play baseball on the team Daddy sponsored, something we have continued to this day. I love you Gary and already miss you so much. You were a wonderful big brother, everyone should be so lucky. Rest in Peace. Pam
