OBITUARY
Funeral services for Jacqueline Marie Burks, age 81, of Rock Mills, will be held Sunday, July 25, 2010, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Frank Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Saturday, July 24th.
Mrs. Burks died Friday, July 23, 2010, at Randolph Medical Center.
Survivors include one son, Kerry G. Burks (Pam) of Rock Mills; one sister, Jane H. Hott of Panama City, Florida; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mrs. Burks was born October 12, 1928, daughter of Theodore and Lillie Brown Cooper. She was a member of Rock Mills First Baptist Church and was a retired postal worker. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Cooper Burks; and a brother, Howard Cooper.
