Obituary of Anna Dean Romine

OBITUARY Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Dean Greer Romine, age 97 of Auburn, formerly of Rogersville, AL, will be held, Monday, July 19, 2010, at 2:00 pm, from Rogersville Church of Christ with Bro. Randy Todd and Bro. Dale Jenkins officiating. She will lie in state one hour before the service at the church. Burial to follow in the Civitan Cemetery, Rogersville, AL, with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 18, 2010. Mrs. Romine died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Bethany House, Auburn, AL. Survivors include one daughter, Joyce (husband Herman) Todd of Auburn; one son, Gerald (wife Louise) Romine of Roanoke; five grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons. Mrs. Romine was born, May 13, 1913, the daughter of James Hamilton and Susie Bedingfield Greer. She was a member of the Auburn Church of Christ and had been a homemaker. Mrs. Romine was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Romine; one daughter, Betty Sue Magness; two grandchildren; Tim Romine and Rita Todd; four brothers; and seven sisters. Flowers will be accepted or donations to either the Tim Romine Scholarship, 121 Stewart ST, Roanoke, AL 36274 or Auburn Christian Student Center, South College St. Auburn, AL 36830.
