Obituary of Myra Keeble Williamson

OBITUARY Funeral services for Mrs. Myra Keeble French Williamson, age 70, of Roanoke, will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 22, 2010 from First Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Armstrong officiating. Mrs. Williamson will lie in state one hour before the service at the church. Burial to follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 21, 2010. Mrs. Williamson died Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Randolph Medical Center. Survivors include two daughters, Michelle French of London, England, Elizabeth Powell of Chattanooga, TN; one son, Richard French of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Byron Morrison, Jimmy McKinney, Wilson Powell, Hunter Powell, Kenneth Nix and John Landers. Mrs. Williamson was born, February 3, 1940, the daughter of Glover and Lois Benefield Keeble. She was a member of First Baptist Church Roanoke and had been a piano music teacher. Mrs. Williamson was preceded in death by her husband, Ledford Williamson. Flowers will be accepted or donations to the First Baptist Church.
