Dear ones, I went to school with Shirley and did substitute work at Handley, and remember so fondly both parents. You were both such outstanding people, both in effort and actions. I do know that I have nothing to gauge the dark walk you are having to make, and wish you to know that I and my church will be praying for God's sustaining grace to be with you every minute. I truly will do what I can to help you in any way I can. Blessings on you all, Betty

When we heard that Allen had died it didn't seem real and it still is hard to really grasp. Allen was just a really nice and chill kind of person. Thank you for being a friend to Isaiah and my hope is that he knew how much he was loved. Not just today or this week, but the Mitchell family y'all will continually be in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that especially Mr. & Mrs. Mitchell and Tanner find continuing hope and peace and comfort in The Savior's loving arms!

I just heard of Allen's passing. I am so sorry for the loss of such a pleasant, sweet young man. I had the honor of teaching Allen in the fourth grade at Handley. He had such a pretty smile and beautiful hair. He always volunteered to help with little jobs in the classroom. I enjoyed him so much and wished all my students were as well-behaved as he was. Such precious memories !
