Funeral services for Joe Bob Gilham, age 65, of Roanoke, will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 1, 2013, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Don Quick and Chris Williamson officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens. Quattlebaum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 31, 2013.
Mr. Gilham died Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Parker Gilham of Roanoke; one son, Tracy Gilham of Roanoke; his mother, Jeanette Gilham of Roanoke; one sister, June Burke of Roanoke; one brother, Jimmy Gilham of Roanoke; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be members of Rock Mills Fire Department.
Mr. Gilham was born March 26, 1948, the son of Robert Sanford and Jeanette Towler Gilham. He attended Whites Chapel Methodist Church and had been employed as a truck driver for Willis Adamson Logging. Mr. Gilham was preceded in death by his father.
